San Diego Marine Solar Power Wind Fuel Cells Batteries 619-218-1018
Solar panels are my number one choice for cruisers or ranchers. Making your panels mounting angle adjustable to maximize the angle to the sun will make outputs higher and longer. Hard panels put on alot more than flexible panels. Kyrocero are my favorite. You must have a good regulator and should have an on off switch with amp meter. Dont forget to fuse those panel outputs and insert the back feed diodes accross the terminals.
Wind generators are an excellent addition to your crusing package. They will produce power at night or when its storm clouds and wind. Use the 5 blade system that will produce the most in low winds. Always use plastic blades because if the wind kicks up they will flex and not break. It's a good idea to tether the tail and most can be electrically braked for servicing safely. Ampair is my favorite.
Fuel cells, or electric engines. I have removed diesel engines on sailboats and made a solor array 180 vdc to run a DC main propulsion engine. Putting the panels in series and the batteries in series can produce almost any voltage and NASA has a small 40 hp engine that cost only 14,000. Definetly a great way to cruise the globe.
